With the introduction of any new technology, there can be risks. Nanotechnology, like any other technology, can be abused by people who are more concerned with making a "quick buck" than the safety of the people who use their products. For the most part, this doesn't happen, but in some cases it seems like it can be a problem.

I decided to check out Skin Deep 3.0 (Environmental Working Group’s cosmetic safety database) to see what they thought of Consumer Reports’ top sunscreen pick of Neutrogena Ultra sheer Dry-Touch Sun Block , SPF 45. I was not surprised to find that the Skin Deep Database revealed that the ingredients in this product are linked to cancer, developmental reproductive/ toxicity, etc. Here is the link if you want to see their report:

Neutrogena Ultra sheer Dry-Touch Sun Block, SPF 45
(http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/product.php?prod_id=93248&refurl=%2Fwordsearch.php%3Fquery%3DNeutrogena+Ultra+Sheer+Dry-Touch+SPF+45%26de%20to%20check)

It is just another reminder to always check Skin Deep before you buy any cosmetic product!
