Tonight is Earth Hour where people all over the world will turn off their lights for one hour between 8 and 9 pm tonight to combat global warming. Watch this video.

Hope you enjoyed earth hour – we started an hour early so that my 4 year old daughter could join in. We lit soy candles, snuggled, and talked about how we could help the world be healthier. My child: “That’s why I am running for president, Mom. I told you: so we can have fresh air, fresh water, and fresh sky.” Pretty cute stuff! I was on a plane to London at that time. Couldn’t switch off a thing…
I was at the gym, so the lights at my house were off, but not the lights at the gym! Hopefully people will be more conscious about leaving lights on or using more lights than needed.
