Tonight is Earth Hour where people all over the world will turn off their lights for one hour between 8 and 9 pm tonight to combat global warming. Watch this video.

Thanks to Jason at Scream to Be Green for the post to remind me to post about Earth Hour and the video from Lynn at Organicmania .  Jason also has on his site a very funny video about what you can do tonight in the dark. It made me blush. Go watch it.

So, what will you do for Earth Hour (please spare me any naughty details….)

Hope you enjoyed earth hour – we started an hour early so that my 4 year old daughter could join in. We lit soy candles, snuggled, and talked about how we could help the world be healthier. My child: “That’s why I am running for president, Mom. I told you: so we can have fresh air, fresh water, and fresh sky.” Pretty cute stuff! Thanks for stopping by my blog — looking fwd to exploring yours as well — I have a friend who’s about to embark on a green renovation so I will steer her in your direction.

Mama Bird, I am so glad you came to visit. Your daughter sound so cute. We kept trying for a girl but after the 4th boy, a girl was not in the cards! Thanks for the referral for your friend. Come back and visit again.

Readers, Mama Bird is an entertaining and engaging writer. I really enjoyed her site. She interacts with her readers which I love. Just look at her blog name, surely you nest for a hint into her personality. Go take a look. Anna

Great idea! It’s nice to see that more people joined the Earth Hour. Hope to see more campaign regarding the Global Warming.

I was on a plane to London at that time. Couldn’t switch off a thing…

I was at the gym, so the lights at my house were off, but not the lights at the gym! Hopefully people will be more conscious about leaving lights on or using more lights than needed.
