It is amazing really, when we consider that solar heating and cooling has been with us since Ancient Greek times.  In our memory we can look to the 1960&#039;s and early 1970&#039;s as a time when alternative so called &quot;hippy&quot; dwellings were built across the landscape. Were they so &quot;far out&quot; then?</description>
