Okay. If you are like me, you are onto Gardening, Round Two. That is…Fall gardening! And what a great time to grab some gardening gear at Gardener’s Supply’s end of season sale.
Fall Gardening. Join the Ranks!
Us northern gardeners eek out as much gardening as we can until Old Man Frost just takes away our summer garden. But as much as I hate saying goodbye to my summer garden, I love how the cold makes my peas, broccoli, and Arnold Schwarzenegger parsnip sweeter than ever.
(Now, before you get any ideas, there is not a type of parsnip named in honor of the California Governator. My parsnips get rather steroid-like. Check out the picture to see that I am not exaggerating. Kind of scary.)
I still have tomatoes, squash, melon, and beans growing. Radishes, carrots, and lettuce are sprouting their heads. I am still waiting on my cauliflower and hoping my broccoli stops flowering. Oh, and there is the kale…
So Buy Your Gardening Gear Now. It’s on Sale.
I hope at Green Talk that I have inspired you to grow your own garden. Heck, if I can do it with the rabbits nipping my plants and the slugs sucking on my strawberries, so can you. (Did mention the ground hog who destroyed my soybeans this year?)
So, if you are thinking of growing a garden next year or need some added gardening gear for this year, this is the time to buy. Gardener’s Supply is having their annual end of summer sale until October 1. Save up to 72% off on some of their products.
You might be thinking. Why buy now when I have several months to think about next year? Stop right there. Buy now while the gardening gear is cheaper. (You know, save some green by being green?) Most of the gardening gear and home products being offered are the same ones sold year after year. I know since I am a Gardener’s Supply groupie. (My closets are full of more gardening gear than I have shoes. I know my sister is saying “no way,” since I am such a shoe-aholic.)
What are my favorites?
Check out my must have gardening gear.
I love the potato binds, the tomato towers, and the bean towers. This year I bought quite a few more tomato towers since my seedlings somehow multiplied. Don’t ask. I have 11 tomato plants this year. Consequently, my garden is a tomato jungle. Vines everywhere.
I know you are dying to see the garden. Stay tune for a video peek of my gardening. I will be posting this week. Well…maybe a few peeks. You know the garden has expanded, right?
So, if you garden, what are your gardening gear must haves?
Or what is on your gardening wish list?
Not into gardening yet, but would like to be? What would you like to purchase?
In any event, take a look at the gardening gear for sale at Gardener’s Supply. I know you will become a groupie just like me.
Disclaimer: I am affiliate of Gardener’s Supply because I love their products! So, for every purchase, I get a little sump’in to help Green Talk grow. Heck, think of it as a way for me to continue providing you gardening drama. I am the queen, you know.

Gardener’ Supply has this tape as well. I make my own last year but it failed because you have to water every day. I am with you with the rototiller. I love mine too but can’t use it much because alot of plants seeded themselves last year. I am going to call this summer the year of the borage. Anna
