Recycle Yoga Mats Through RecycleYourMat

April 9, 2010 By: Anna4 Comments

recycle your mat

I am a real sucker for any program that takes back a product and up-cycles to keep it out of landfills.  RecycleYourMat takes back your old yoga mat so that it can live another life in another product.  To encourage more recycling, the Company has partnered with Manduka, who will send you a FREE Recycled Wool Blanket if our recycle 5 old mats. Offer good until April 30, 2010. Sweet deal.

So, how can you get started?  Either start collecting your own and your yoga friends  or perhaps start a collection at your favorite yoga studio.  Either drop them off at a collection near you or ship them to the Company. To get your free blanket, make sure to mention the above offer.

Oh, by the way, before you send  your mats, make sure you read the FAQs on how to clean them.
